What is Erasmus in Schools Project?
Erasmus in Schools (EiS) is an inspiring project that brings international students into local classrooms to share their stories, cultures, and experiences of studying abroad. It’s not just a presentation – it’s about creating real connections between young people from different backgrounds.
When Erasmus students visit schools, they open a window to the world. They talk about their home countries, traditions, and languages, but also about the ups and downs of living and studying in a new environment. Thanks to these personal stories, the idea of studying abroad feels much closer and more achievable for local pupils – showing them that it could be part of their own future, too.
For pupils, these visits are fun, inspiring, and eye-opening. They discover new facts about different countries, see the world from fresh perspectives, and often get their very first chance to chat with someone from another part of the globe. Most importantly, they realize that cultural differences are something to celebrate, not something to divide us.
That’s why Erasmus in Schools is more than just a school visit. It’s a cultural exchange that sparks curiosity, encourages open-mindedness, and helps young people grow into globally aware and confident citizens.
